MANGALURU/KOLAR: A woman probationary police sub-inspector, who was seven months pregnant, died due to Covid in the early hours of Tuesday at a Kolar hospital, losing a twoweek battle against the virus, report Deepthi Sanjiv and K Ranganath.
Twenty-four-year-old Shamili (in pic), who completed BFSc from a Mangaluru college with three gold medals in 2019, was posted to Dakshina Kannada as sub-inspector of police in January this year.
