Goa CM condemns opposition's action towards Governor in assembly, LoP retaliates
Panaji, Jan 26 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday accused opposition MLAs of indulging in 'inappropriate' and 'unparliamentary' actions towards Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in the state assembly on January 25, 2021.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said,'On the first day of the Assembly session, we saw inappropriate & unparliamentary actions of the opposition benches towards the Hon. Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji. The opposition should introspect &uphold the democratic values, & also work in the interest of the people.'
However, reacting to the Chief Minister's statement Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat said government must listen to emotions, sentiments and aspirations of the people.
