Global Condemnation of Journalist Assault During Jerusalem Day March

The Committee to Protect Journalists and the U.S. government condemned harassment and assault of journalists during the Jerusalem Day flag march. Israeli settlers assaulted journalists Saif Kwasmi and Nir Hasson while Israeli security forces were criticized for inaction. The U.S. also called on Israel to protect reporters and investigate these incidents.
