THOUSANDS of pounds have been raised in honour of a beloved regular at a South Side pub who lost her life to cancer.
Patrons at Victoria Bar came together for a virtual fundraiser on Saturday to coin in cash in memory of Claire Hamilton.
The Castlemilk woman was a well-known face in the Victoria Road watering hole and customers pledged to give all proceeds from the Big Night In to Maggie's Centres cancer charity.
Following an evening of entertainment on the pub's social media channels, the bar's owners were delighted to confirm more than £2700 had been raised.
