Glasgow's latest street art mural honours Pollok 'superwoman'

A POLLOK ‘superwoman’ who worked tirelessly to support the vulnerable during Covid has been honoured with her very own street art mural.
Donna Foote is one of only three women across the UK to be celebrated in Amazon Handmade’s #TheArtofMotherhood series, commissioned in time for Mother’s Day this Sunday.
It aims to recognise those ‘mothering the nation’ by caring for their communities over the past 12 months.
The 52-year-old, who has five children, was recognised for her work in founding Greater Pollok Services CIC, an organisation which offers food, prescriptions and mental health support for people living in Greater Pollok.
