Local families are invited to attend the open house to learn more about Girl Scouts.
Local service members, veterans, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and health care workers are also invited to attend Saturday's event to pick up free donated Girl Scout Cookies as part of Operation: Cookie Drop, a council-wide service project.
Girl Scouts of Central Indiana recently relocated all membership field staff to 24 coworking spaces throughout central Indiana, according to a release "This new model will help membership staff get out into the communities they serve to better support girls, families and volunteers," the release stated.
Girl Scouts is open to all girls from kindergarten through grade 12. Adults over the age of 18 can volunteer. Financial assistance is available. To join, visit girlscoutsindiana.org/join
