Gibson Guitars is set to open its new Gibson Garage in Nashville, offering six-string aficionados and music historians citywide a chance to try everything under the ageless and increasingly hot brandâs proverbial sun.
On June 9, when it opens officially in celebration of Les Paulâs birthday, the 209 10th Ave. S. location will become the first and only branded Gibson store in the world, and one of very few places where patrons can find each and every model, and every signature from Adam Jones to Slash, available from the company.
The space also features a rotating exhibit of historic guitars, which includes a very special 1938 Gibson Jumbo, the first acoustic guitar to be played on TV, among other legendary instruments from the early 1900s.
