Denise Nicholas, a Crookston resident and former business owner, has decorated a pop-up store in downtown Crookston for Christmas and requested donations of items for people of all ages.
Journalist Ann Bailey reports that Crooskton residents who have been hit hard financially by COVID will go to the shop and select gifts for their families. They won’t have to pay for the gifts, which are quality items, some of them still with price tags. Teri Hegge, Crookston Chamber of Commerce's executive director, is coordinating the effort.
