COVID-19 and vaccines still seem to be the talk of the day here in Beautiful Marion County. In a column last week, several readers reported on the positive experiences they had in getting their vaccinations. At this writing, quantities of the vaccine are still too small to fill the need, but eventually the supply lines should catch up to demand.

I also signed up the morning of the 29th for myself and husband and we are still waiting for a call for an appointment. It has now been over 30 days without a call. I forward the home phone to my cell if I have to go anywhere. They also have my email and we haven't received anything there other than the original notification that they received my request for shots.
