Noida/Ghaziabad: It is getting increasingly difficult to find a hospital bed for a Covid-19 patient in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad.
Only requests of locals are being entertained and people from other parts of the NCR are being turned down by the registration centres set up in the two districts to facilitate admission into the Covid care hospitals.
For registration, apart from the patient's name, age and address, the oxygen saturation level is also being asked. “I could not get my father admitted in Noida since my father’s Aadhaar card has a Delhi address. He has been staying with me for several months and got infected here in Noida,” said Akash Saxena, who lives in Sector 110.
