German shares edge up Thursday

FRANKFURT, June 3 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 29.96 points, or 0.19 percent, to close at 15,632.67 points.
Automotive manufacturer BMW won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.95 percent. Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical and European health care company Fresenius SE rose by 1.79 percent and 1.67 percent respectively.
European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero lost the most among the blue chips, down by 1.49 percent. Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero and housing association Vonovia went down by 1.31 percent and 0.95 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 218.58 million euros (266.38 million U.S. dollars).
