Signs include the student’s name, high school and the name and logo of the college or military branch they plan to pursue.
A single-side signs costs $18, and double-side costs $22. Sign proceeds will go directly to Share A Meal to help keep the shelves stocked with fruit cups, macaroni and cheese, microwavable meals and more.
More than 500 signs were ordered through the fundraiser last year. Though volunteers were swamped with executing and delivering those orders, it helped sustain Share A Meal through this school year, Carson said.
“I enjoy doing the signs. If we can get more people to help out, we could fill a similar number of orders.”
