Luckily, Garmin's $399.99 Venu 2 smartwatch excels on both fronts, starting with a gorgeous AMOLED display, a classy stainless steel bezel, and availability in different sizes and colors to suit a range of tastes. It builds on its predecessor with better battery life, more music storage, and new sports apps. It's good for anyone who likes to mix up their routine with a variety of activities like biking, running, strength training, walking, and yoga, or who wants to keep a close eye on their health metrics with quick and accurate blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and respiration rate readings, among many others. The Apple Watch Series 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch3 offer more value with built-in voice assistants, better calling and texting capabilities, and greater third-party app support, but the Venu 2 is an attractive alternative if health and fitness are your main concerns.
