Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 16) — Cebu's prominent Garcia family has filed a complaint for alleged medical negligence against two doctors for the death of their two brothers, who passed away despite being cleared of COVID-19.
The criminal complaint was filed on December 15 against Doctors Elfeda Hernandez and Yvonne Betina Montejo, who attended to the Garcia brothers at Chong Hua Hospital in August.
The late Barili Mayor Marlon Garcia and former Dumanjug Mayor Nelson Garcia tested positive for COVID-19. Nelson died on September 1st, while Marlon died on the 6th.
