Fury as Bournemouth council officials 'butcher' more than 50 lime trees lining smart residential street by sawing off the tops without notice

Lime trees 50ft tall had their branches lopped off along Charminster Avenue. Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) Council say pollarding is necessary every five years.
