Furey signs agreement to put development of offshore wind energy in N.L. hands

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Andrew Furey has penned a deal with the federal government that will give the province the power to regulate, develop and profit from offshore wind developments — but its implementation relies on Bill C-49 passing.
