Funderburk brings new leadership to Humble

May 13, 2021, is a date that will go into the history books for the city of Humble. This is the date that the head of the city changed hands from Mayor Merle Aaron to the newly elected Mayor Norman Funderburk.
“Together we welcome Funderburk and his family to the council, said Aaron. Councilmembers Charles Cunningham and Andy Curry, who won reelection, were sworn into office. During this historic night, the board and all attendees also recognized the Humble Fire and Rescue Firefighter Team and Paula K. Palla for heroic COVID-19 efforts.
