Marking Astor Piazzolla’s 100th anniversary, the Fundacioìn Astor Piazzolla is launching the first edition of the Piazzolla Music Competition.
The competition, aimed at both soloists and ensembles, seeks to find musicians of any instrument or voice type, with an affinity for Piazzola’s work, who will be able to add to the composer’s catalogue. Applicants can include pre-professional or professional soloists or ensembles of no more than six. They can be of any nationality, and must be over the age of 13.
