The Indian government on Monday ordered
Twitter to block 1,178 accounts from that platform that were allegedly linked to Pakistan and Khalistan supporters which were spreading misinformation and provocative content on farmers' protest. Twitter has responded to these orders by the government listing the action it has taken. Twitter also says that it has not taken any action on accounts that consist of news media entities, journalists, activists, and politicians, but it has withheld a portion of the accounts within India only.
