Self-isolation orders are now in effect in Manitoba, requiring those entering into the province to quarantine for 14 days unless given an exemption.
Before the rules went into effect on 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, the province released the full text of them and outlined exactly who is exempt.
All exemptions are conditional on the persons named not showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
Those who are providing essential services like health-care providers, police officers, emergency services personnel, corrections officers, members of the military, social service workers, elected officials and their staff are all exempt.
