The Springfield police crackdown on illegal firearms has led to another arrest.
Officers responded to a report of a wanted person in the 800 block of South 25
th Street. Springfield cops and members of the US Marshal’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force located 33-year-old Levente Ingram and arrested him without incident. Police recovered a stolen firearm.
Ingram is being held on several charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
