Frosts down to -2°C, and in some places down to -9°C, which have been observed in recent days in the northern, eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, have led to significant damage to wheat, barley, rapeseed and peas, said Sergiy Avramenko, chief researcher at the Yuriev Institute of Plant Production of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, ASAP Agri reported on May 17 in its Telegram channel.
