Seventy years ago, the world witnessed the birth of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, or Panchsheel, marking a significant milestone in international diplomacy. This year, as we celebrate its anniversary, we also mark the 11th year since China introduced the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind. The two initiatives, though originating from different contexts and regions, share a common aspiration for global harmony, cooperation and progress.
