SAN ANGELO, Texas — Winter temperatures have slowly filtered into the area from the north, especially across the northern Concho Valley and Big Country where temperatures Tuesday struggled to climb out of the 30s.
Cold air continued to push southward Tuesday night, with the threat of winter precipitation threatening the Big Country early Wednesday.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Big Country, including Abilene, from midnight until noon Wednesday. This is because isolated freezing drizzle is expected to develop north of I-20 overnight, which may lead to some slick road conditions Wednesday morning.
