JOHNSTOWN — Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fulton County Traffic Safety Board is again conducting its annual New Year’s Eve Free Taxi Ride Program Thursday through Friday, but with shortened hours.
“We definitely are doing it,” county District Attorney Chad Brown said Monday.
Brown said this year’s Free Taxi Ride Program will run from 9 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday. He said the Traffic Safety Board figures not as many people will be out partying this year because of the pandemic. The program is usually run later into the night.
