Free movement regime agreement with Myanmar: Northeastern states sharing border with Myanmar to hold meet & approach Centre

Union Home minister Amit Shah announces plans to fence India's border with Myanmar, and reconsider the Free Movement Regime (FMR) agreement. Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister states that Northeastern states sharing the Myanmar border will approach the Centre. Manipur Chief Minister had previously requested cancellation of the FMR due to ethnic violence.
