Free Christmas tree giveaway for those in need in the Town of Tonawanda

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) â Some local businesses are looking to spread some holiday cheer on Christmas Eve.
Free Christmas trees will be available for anyone in need from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Philip Sheridan School back parking lot at 3200 Elmwood Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda.
A tradition started by former Erie County Legislator Charles Swanick and David Arida from Arida Tree Farms will continue this year with the help of Northtown Garden Center, Grabber and Sons, Spoths Nursery, Lowes, Adams Nursery, New Story Church, U-Haul and Ken-Ton Elmwood Commons.
