Freddie Mercury's piano and the original manuscript of "Bohemian Rhapsody" were sold at a Sotheby's auction in London for over £3 million. The auction featured over 1,400 lots of Mercury's memorabilia, with total revenue exceeding £12 million. The piano sold for £1.7 million, while the manuscript fetched £1.4 million. The auction also included personal items, stage costumes, photographs, and selections from Mercury's wine cellar. A significant portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust and the Elton John Aids Foundation.
