Frazier Trager offers live stream of Fantastic Negrito concert
FAIRFIELD — Two-time Grammy winner Fantastic Negrito is offering a live-stream show three days after his 53rd birthday.
Frazier Trager Presents will host the concert locally Jan. 23.
Viewers also have an opportunity to win a personally autographed collection of Fantastic Negrito vinyl records by adding a tip for the band.
Negrito will choose the winner at the end of the show. The final date to qualify is Jan. 20.
Born Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz, Negrito was born in Massachusetts and came to Oakland with his family when he was 12.
He was raised in an orthodox Muslim household and, in press materials, says he went from Arab chants to Funkadelic in one day, living in the heart of one of the wildest, most infamous, most vibrant black communities in the nation.
