ALEX: THE FIRST EVER SUMMER BEER FEST AT FRAZIER WILL FEATURE LIVE MUSICFO, OD TRUCKS AND A SELECTION OF MORE THAN 200 BEERS. WHILE BOURBON IS A HUGE PART OF LOUISVILLE’S HISTORY, CURATOR AMANDA BRIEDSAE YS BEER HAS ITS PLACE, TOO. >> THE FIRST BREWERIES IN LOUISVILLE POPPED UP AROUND 1808. WHEN WE SAW MORE IMMIGRANTS IN THE 1830’S AND 1840’S, BEER EARLY TOOK OFF IN LOUISVILLE. ALEX: SHE SHOWS OFF HISTORICAL BEER ITEMS FROM FALLS CITY, OERTS ELAND FEHR’S THREE OF THE BIGGEST BEER BRANDS IN LOUISVILLE THAT STARTED BEFORE AND SURVIVED PROHIBITI.ON >> WE HAVE A REALLY COOL BOTTLE OF FEHR'’ BEER FROM THE 1940’S.
