FRANKLIN -- If you like trivia, the Franklin Odd Fellows have an event designed just for you, and it's happening this weekend, on Saturday, Aug. 1.
There are still openings to join the fun at the general trivia tournament being hosted by Franklin's Independent Order Of Odd Fellows William F. Ray Lodge No. 71 at the Bellingham Sportsman Club, 360 Lake St., Bellingham.
The fun takes place 2-4:30 p.m.
The event will consist of teams of up to 10 players with a registration cost of $10 per person in advance, or $15 at the door. Team pre-registration and pre-payment is strongly encouraged.
This will be the organization's first social event for this year -- and its first ever trivia tournament -- helping the lodge to continue its "longstanding tradition of giving back to the local community - and have a good time while doing it."
