That is not necessarily where the landfall will be, you can see this line here, the storm will be dragging across estate basically south of interstate, the heaviest Rain And Wind on the North Side so it does mean places like orlando to the north will see a ton of rain, was a ton of wind it with this system. We have been having very frequent conversations with federal state, local agencies to discuss what is needed most, we have a prestage significant amount of capability, the national guard importantly has activated over 6000 National Guardsmen in florida with an additional 3000 ready to provide support from other states. Army corps of engineers prestaged Emergency Power capabilities as well as activeduty forces to support as necessary, whether that is route clearance, search and rescue, or helping deliver important capabilities, commodities like food and water. Neil where do you position your men and women than in general . Obviously this storm is now moving slightly south of where we originally thought, and that could change even within the hours of this day. How do you arrange that . A lot of that is looking at the Storm Models and where it is tracking to. Places like georgia are places in florida that are outside of the most dangerous areas of the past, but of course we can bring in it capabilities from across the country as necessary. But right now u. S. Northern command is looking very closely at all of that, looking closely at the state of florida with fema to make sure again to your points, we are prepositioning things, we are staged to be ready to respond as soon as we are needed to. When you look at the combined efforts in terms of the support we are providing for Hurricane Helene, the support we are prepared to provide for hurricane milton, you are looking at of words of over 10,000 National Guardsmen, you have the 1500 activeduty troops currently in North Carolina assisting with efforts they are pleasantly Army Corps of engineers, several hundred Army Corps of engineers folks ready to go. All hands on Deck Effort to. They will lean forward, we will be ready to help our fellow americans in time of need. Neil this has become very much a military issue. Military obviously, one of the things we do well is crisis response, from my own experiences living in florida, when hurricanes come in near military installations and things like that, there is a role for the military to play. We will be a part of a whole of government to your point, we will be bringing in capabilities and we will move forward it to help our fellow americans in our time of need. That is crazy yes, what we thought was our forever home five years ago, we have three younger children and they have not seen the whole yet into their current condition but i am thankful we evacuated and we followed orders and im thankful that we did. My 5yearold keeps crying to go home to his bunk beds, my 7yearold is sad you can to trickortreat every year like we did every year. I did my best to make these disruptions as a final for them as i can so we went to the Beach Yesterday here, and we went to the pool, we went to a Nature Walk and we are doing our best to be honest with them but also deliver news in a way that is ageappropriate. I believe that community does a good job of providing resources for people, there are many shelters open, they are free cuba rides to shelters, but its a very daunting task to prepare your Home And Family to leave for evacuation. I can understand why some people choose not to but i would urge anybody who considers evacuating to do so, it keeps the first responders say for so they dont have to be going to dangerous zones to rescue people. Im thankful be evacuated and we have resources to do so, it is quite a daunting task especially with a young three younger children and a dog. That center of circulation is an hour ago about 100 Miles Southwest of tampa, moving close to 20 miles an hour, 80 miles away at this point. What an active day it has already been. Are never seen anything like this, 114 Tornado Warnings across the southern part of the state so far today. It has been firing off like crazy. They are still out there, now largely on the East Coast of the state. These are all Tornado Warnings, everyone of those is a Tornado Someone has laid eyes on and they are seeing it currently spin, unfortunately that Tornado Watch will be continuing across the entire region because the ingredients are there to all of these thunderstorms could continue to spin, continue to cause some real problems. It is not just those tornadoes, we are already beginning to see some of the heaviest Rain Move on sure, this in the sarasota area, anything in the green box is a flash flood warning. That is not from the Storm Surge, that is the inland water. The Storm Surge is going to be coming over the next couple of hours, this entire system will be dragging across the state, staying a hurricane as it travels through the overnight hours. We suspect these wins will continue to creep up as obviously distraught is twins are right there near the core but increasingly we have seen some of these gusts getting up to around 50 miles per hour. At times the gusts of gotten closer to 60 miles an hour, 70 miles an hour, these are some of our highest twins so far today. This is ultimately what may be some of those totals look like, ringing all of that water on shore here, 12 feet in the tampa area, closer to 13 feet, perhaps getting down toward sarasota and still a little further, all of these numbers are absolutely absurd, 12 feet for Fort Myers beach. This is not a small area about to be hit, talking about coastal evacuations but for the people in the path of the storm, they need to be expecting these extreme a high wins, Power Outages, and they need to get inside now. If you look at the population from tampa to Daytona Beach Area and just south of there, expect large areas are going to be without power, talking millions of customers losing power in the next 12 hours. That is why the national Weather Service is telling people now is the time to get inside, unless your life is threatened, stay inside, during the storm, and expect to have Power Outages, trees down, heavy flooding, and we know being inside safe is better than being out in the storm. They are at the point now where there is not going to be helped coming, you already heard from local officials and some of these communities, they are not able to take 911 calls, respond to them, and we will see that increasing as the storm makes landfall and begins across the state, that is so dangerous that the Emergency Services will have to stay in their safe locations until the Storm Passes, so once you get to that point there is no help coming until after the storm has passed.
