There is just a complete failure of weak leadership here in North Carolina the federal government. So sad. North Carolinas Governor talked about the response in canton today. This unprecedented catastrophic storm requires unprecedented response. And we are in the middle of that right now. Theres a lot of misinformation about the fact that we are not going to have enough money because its being redirected elsewhere. Just plain false. The pentagon is sending A Thousand active duty troops to assist fema. This is another group of men and women that can go in with an amazing capability that will augment the national guards and help get critical need in. They are sending in helicopters to help with Search And Rescue and to deliver Food And Water to hardtoreach areas. There is also a Water Purification System that could get water back to some in a day or two. These folks are resilient. Its going to take a long time to recover. And the current number of deaths stand as 230 people. And this is also comes as the Supreme Leader of iran called the Missile Attack legal and legitimate. And were waiting, basically, to see what israel does in response, right . Trey yeah, earlier this week, 180 ballistic missiles were fired at israel by the iranians and we heard today from iran Supreme Leader for the first time since that attack. And he was holding a gun as he spoke to a crowd of people in tehran, praising the attack against israel. And my team and i were in Southern Israel on the morning of October 7th. We watched the massacre unfold. People died in front of us. And we needed to bring these live images to our audience on fox. Thats what we did in real time. And in that one particular moment, were outside of a Police Station in the southern city of sderot. First responders are pulling bodies from the rubble. And that moment illustrated a similar moment for so many israelis who went into the aftermath of this massacre, into these communities along the border, known as the i can be buts. Only a matter of time before things escalate because they are moving in our neighborhoods. There is different areas that different guys, i guess, different socalled organizations or gangs had. And they moving on blocks and standing out there and trying to emulate them or doing the same thing that theyre doing. That growing Frustration Edges tends beyond Gang Members. Folks in the community tell us the crime issues they are dealing with have only gotten worse since the venezuelans and tda moved in. Then the ipsoS Poll, this is a swing state poll, arizona, georgia, michigan, nevada, North Carolina, pennsylvania, and wisconsin, and there you see the former president with 4847. Again, margin of error 3. 3. This comes on a day whereby the Firefighters Union decided not to endorse this is the second big union deciding not to endorse. This is a blow to Vice President harris. Politico writes it this way. Firefighters union declines to issue philadelphia president ial endorsement. Harris won the endorsements of an overwhelming number of unions. Second noted setback in weeks in her campaign. Boost outreach to Working Class voters on her behalf. Particularly in key Swing States like pennsylvania and michigan and wisconsin. Annie, its worth the caveat that Vice President harris has the majority much of the Labor Unions backing but two in a renow is a bit of a blow and maybe Trump Campaign trying to go after Union Workers look at who these unions represent. These are the very Working Class many of them white Working Class voters that harris desperately wants to bring into her coalition, the firefighters, in particular. This was the First Union that endorsed Joe Biden in 2020. He relied heavily on their support for his wins, particularly in, you know, pennsylvania, michigan, wisconsin, and so for them to not say anything and not be endorsing her this time around First Union to endorse biden you are right. April 28th, 2019. Finishing the Statement America needs Joe Biden but they are now, juan, saying america doesnt need Kamala Harris or we are not going to endorse her . Juan i dont think thats what they are saying. I think, you know, looky, annie was exactly right. You think about the Trump Base, the Trump Base is made up of, you know, noncollege educated Working Class white males, and thats the majority of that union. And majority also of some of the Labor Unions that have, i think, you know, pulled back a little bit from Kamala Harris leadership because democrats are the people they rely on for bargaining, Prounion Stance when it comes to actually getting legislation done at thiS Point the election looks static. The polls arent really moving, this thing is tied, and everybody is looking for edge with one Voting Group or another last thing on the Union Thing after the teamsters decided not to endorse even though matthew when they took and put out the internal poll that they had among its members, former President Trump overwhelmingly, won 59. 6 to 34 . Similar polling were told inside the fire Firefighters Union they didnt put out the numbers, it is a canary in the coal mine, perhaps mime between Rank And File leadership committed to the democratic party. When that divide is so clear as in these two cases, the Union Leadership decides to be agnostic and say well we are not going to endorse either candidate even though most of the manipulate is for Trump Trump has broadened the republican party to include organized labor, to include hispanic americans, to include many black males throughout this country its a new republican party. Whats fascinating though as new as the party is trump is getting the same share of the vote that he did in 2020. Is he getting about 48 . The question is is harris going to match Bidens Number or closer to hillarys . Right now it seems to me she is trending toward hillarys number. Thats not good for the democrats. Good Job Numbers but Marco Rubio and others have pointed out that 16 of the last 17 have been revised downward and the last one significantly so. Yeah. They are good Job Numbers though. Give the White House that the president that. The problem is with inflation people are feeling like yeah i now need two of my jobs in order to afford what i used to have. That is a problem that democrats have. Its not that arent jobs. Its that people arent being able to buy as much with the jobs that they have. And the salaries that they have. In fact, thats not uncommon that they revised Job Numbers, you know, several months later. I think. Not almost a million. What im think something look, the fact is unemployment is low. Inflation seems to be going down and great jobs report today. You would think that thats a combination that would help the incumbent party but, again, it just doesnt seem to be resonating.
