One of the biggest names in Hiphop Mogul Sean Diddy Combs is in big trouble, off of the top of outnumbered is that we are waiting the arraignment of Sean Diddy combs in a new York City courtroom on a stunning list of charges. We learned this moments ago at The End of the faulkner focus. We had no idea how graphic it would be, so we discussed this, the things that he is charged with doing our graphic. Now, his arraignment is set to begin at 2 30 p. M. Eastern, and thats because we now know what he is up against. That unsealed indictment is public. Combs is said to be formally charged with racketeering conspiracy, Sex Trafficking and transportation to engage in. Prosecutors say combs carried out to Sex Trafficking, threatening and physically abusing his victims. Women, multiple women. They would not give a number at the quick News Conference that followed the words from Damien Williams who is the u. S. Attorney of the southern district of new york. He also, is accused of also recording many of those sexual encounters, so what he would do as he would get a camera to be set up and he would have it films, women who were on drugs like ketamine and many other things to make them do what he wanted them to do, to control them. This is all alleged in the indictment, and he would get them on tape having sex with multiple male Sex Workers and he would keep those tapes to make sure that they did not talk. And before you watch this, this is graphic as you can see on the screen, this is an incident that led to be at the center of the investigation where he stopped cassie from leaving and that video and the Music Mogul grabbed her by the hair and threw it to the ground and kicked her coming out once not twice and then he pulled her back into that room. Its a pattern that the feds tell us they have found over time. Check this out, combs among other things, hit, kicked, threw objects at and dragged to victims at times by their hair. These assaults often resulted in injuries that took days or weeks to heal. So cannot even imagine what these women went through in these Hotel Rooms where they were forced to have sex with Sex Workers videotaped and drugged, did not know what was going on, diddy has been at the center of the investigation for months. Emily the takeaway in terms of allegations is the sheer volume, the sheer level of The Machine that was controlled by sean combs and also the specificity. The absolutely monstrosity of the specific acts alleged. The 30,000foot view is this person operated a Well Oiled and Frightening Machine that operated not only interstate, but also in our country and international allegations of Trafficking And Trafficking armed and like over State And Country lines and also using things like brandishing weapons, arson, kidnapping, physical assault, beatings, kicking and the like bird the individual victims, the allegations with these Freak Offs are nauseating to listen to and i cant imagine what these women went through with the allegations are true of the absolute violence and the abject fear that went on for weeks and weeks and years at a time. And i have to state too there was a second wave of this massive intimidation and threats to their lives and livelihood that occurred upon pressure from the federal government meaning that in the beginning when sean would operate these parties they would then intimidate the victims by force, by violence, by threats into Silence And Compliance and is well physically drug in them and then there was a whole second wave when the feds came around when they said this is what happen, this is what did not happen if you speak and cooperates we are going to and insert threat. Diddy combs, what do they all have in common . They were powerful men with a whole lot of power that took advantage of women. I was looking at how long did it take for accountability in these cases from the first allegation all the way to an indictment or a conviction . Okay, p. Diddy combs it took 16 years from the first allegation. Jeffrey epstein 14 years, weinstein 13 years, r. Kelly more than 20 plus years. We know psychologically its hard for women to come forward. These are not oneman operations. Those around them and vetted and enabled the abuse of young women, vulnerable women. Harris i want to talk about these women at the heart of this case and we have been talking about the tapes that were rolled on and the evidence that could be used against p. Diddy, they were young and chosen potentially for a reason. They cannot fight back in careers where i am certain blackballing them was part of it. So its not only do you go to the police, but how do you retain your own livelihood if you speak up, there was a lot of pressure and yet we know so much in this case. Kaylee and as a young woman, even watching the video of cassie, its heartbreaking. And im glad that you bring up the epstein comparison, because there is a common denominator in these situations that these men are surrounded by a culture that glorified this. They surround themselves with people who are okay with the way that they treat women. These allegations go back to 2008, there were other powerful people in the Music Industry as we know from whistleblowers Who Have come forward now that were involved in these parties and knew about what was happening and they did nothing. They did nothing to step in. They did not come forward to help these women and i just think about this as a young woman, this is why women dont come forward about even domestic abuse, they are scared to speak up for themselves because they feel no support from the people who know whats happening to them and stay silence. And so i hope that for the women who are watching and learning about how he has now finally going to be held accountable you can speak up. You can speak up for yourself and you can be brave, because there is support for you from Law Enforcement and premier community. Kaylee even a remarkable shift from the left versus the first Assassination Attempt where they made at least a halfhearted attempt to couch the rhetoric, now they are doubling down on it and they dont care who sees it. And after a said that i had so many people reach out and say that they felt the exact same way in that moment was so critical i believe because for the first time really in politics since Donald Trump entered the scene, people were rethinking what they knew about the former president. They were rethinking what they had been told about the former president including that he was a fascist, that he was a threat to democracy and that change the way they perceived them. Its a reputational accountability that happens almost immediately for anyone who calls for the death of somebody else if we live in a civil society and im guessing democrats must feel that. But they have thrown it out the window, so my question is what are the stakes were democrats . Its not about democracy. So im waiting to hear and to learn what is it about this moment that makes them particularly bloodthirsty as they speak about this president.
