And i had another debate with her. There will be no third debate. In this Battleground State to tout his comic plan. Take a look at some of the whatif scenarios for the Balance Of Power in the u. S. Senate. Republicans need just two additional seats to have the senate majority. Now, incumbent democrats are trying to hang on to their seats in pennsylvania. Lets say they managed to do that there. And ohio. And montana. Now, montana, the Republican Sheehy is leading. And if they did pick up that seat, thats likely the one that would throw them over. Lets just say for the sake of argument that jon tester, the incumbent holds on to that seat. We expect all close races. They do have the advantage. Give them three states except montana where the democrat is trailing. In maryland they havent seen a republican senator since the 1980s even though republican Governor Larry Hogan is expected to make it a close race. Angela democrat has the edge there. We will give maryland to the democrats. In west virginia, democrat turned independent senator Joe Manchin not running for Reelection And Attorney and real Estate Broker Glen Elliott is hoping to keep that seat on the democratic side. That is a tall order. Because the state is becoming more and more red in recent years. We can expect republican governor jim justice to take that seat and flip it to the republicans and there you see 5046. That leaves michigan, wisconsin, nevada, arizona, republicans need one more seat in this scenario to take over control. Democrats would need all four. The national republican Senate Committee Chair Steve Daines recently acknowledged Fundraising Gaps with democrats. He said these four states are where they need the most money. Democrats do have the widest gap as far as advantages into the two western states. Candidates in arizona and nevada, well give those out there. They have outraised their republican opponents about 22 Million in both of those states. Tonight we take a closer look at these two states. Michigan and wisconsin where Fundraising Numbers are a little closer. Michigan, yall know how to win. You know Bret President ial nominees. I promise we will make wisconsin great again. On two midwestern states. We see that the midwest is being recognized. When it comes to fundraising for senate candidates in michigan, Elissa Slotkin has 18. 7 million more receipts than former michigan congressman mike rogers. If you listen to the Bidenharris And Slotkin agenda, it is more of the same. More ev mandates. More big government. Bret while more than half of rogers funds come from outside of michigan. Slotkin has the six most donations out of state from all of congress. Lets face it, everybody, michigan is the center of the political universe. The percentage of Outofstate Fundraising has increased over Time for all candidates. Aside from michigan, donors from california, New York, and massachusetts have given the most money to slotkin. The same states have given the most money to democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin in her Wisconsin Reelection bid. We are the Battleground State. On the republican side, california donors also gave the most money to candidates in wisconsin and michigan. Other top states include florida, texas, and virginia. We love our country. We love america. Overall, baldwin has 19. 6 million more in receipts than republican entrepreneur Eric H ufty. Spend Time with you people. South Dakota Senator John Thune recently contributed 4 Million from his Campaign Account to the national republican senatorial committee. New generation of leadership needs to emerge. If we look at polling some races have begun to narrow slightly. Additional fundraising could be henning. In Wisconsin Baldwin had an 11 Point Lead in our most recent Fox News poll from july. Real clear Politics Average now shows a narrower Gap Giving Baldwin a 6 point advantage. The path to the president and to control of the United States Senate runs directly through the midwest. Our most recent Fox Poll from michigan shows slotkin with a 5 Point Lead over rogers. But, when looking at independent voters, rogers is ahead by 12 points. Thats three and a half points outside the margin of error. Mike rogers is going to be a great senator. He has got gravitas. In the president ial election, polling shows a much closer race in these two states. Looking at the real clear Politics Average of polls in wisconsin, Vice President Kamala Harris ahead by 2 points as we head on over to michigan. She leads by one. You know, really close, margin of Error Stuff here as you go to our new Fox Power rankings. The Vice President maintains her edge in that state and as we mentioned earlier, Wisconsin Beings along with nevada, arizona, pennsylvania, remain tossups. But now two other states have shifted out of former President Trumps corner. They were lean republican into the tossup territory. Correspondent Alexandria Hoff takes a closer look at our president ial Power Rankings. Well, the Vice President spoke in North Carolina this afternoon, a state that the Fox News Power Rankings now considers a tossup. It was a lean r with trump winning the state in 2020 and 2016. But, Population Growth has simply made it more competitive. Georgia also moves from lean r to tossup. The Vice President has dedicated Time and resources there. Gaining momentum in the process. These shifts have given harris an overall Power Rankings lead for the first Time. 241 electoral votes to trumps 219. It is 270 to win. And with 78 forecasted electoral votes up for grabs, it is still very much anyones game. North carolina and georgia now join arizona, nevada, pennsylvania and wisconsin as the six states that we expect will decide this election. Now, you can play around with the math on which combinations would get a candidate to 270, but states that poll close tend to be lost and won together. In 2016, trump won seven of eight Battleground States in 2020 biden did the same. Now, another note, over the last 1 months, support for trump has remained remarkably steady. That is in the face of indictments, a conviction, and assassination attempt, and a change in opponent. National surveys show a bit more variation for democrats. As for tuesdays debate, it will take several weeks to reflect in the polls, but we know that shifts following the debate tend to be modest. Bret . Bret all right, alex, thank you.
