They have no way to get the watches and warnings. The threat will continue. It will be ongoing today. Really from texas across the gulf coast in towards the southeast, including some of thieves big cities like atlanta, georgia, montgomery, alabama, jackson, mississippi. So there is texas. There is the warned area and as we go across mississippi and alabama, again, the possibility for large hail, we have seen hail in excess of 4 inches in diameter. So, the hail, the damaging winds and the tornadoes and, of course, the National Weather service is going to go out today and assess the damage but already, you know we can tell thats from tornadoes. Over 90 reports of tornadoes within the last 24 hours in some of these areas. So there is your forecast today. We still have that front and the area of low pressure thats moving across the gulf coast, the southeast, and then the cold side of this storm, we havent even talked about the snow in colorado. Its all part of a wider system that has brought widespread damage not only the Severe Threat but the snow. And details had been sent to the United States and mediators as well. Lawrence so the hamas plan reportedly includes the release of hostages in exchange to 700 to 1,000 palestinian prisoners according to reuters. The terror group says it would hand over women, children, the elderly and the sick first. Ainsley hamas is also demanding a permanent ceasefire, a withdrawal of Israeli Forces from gaza as well as major increases in humanitarian aid. Brian israeli Prime Minister benjamins office says the proposal includes unrealistic demands. Among those hostages excuse me, prisoners that they want out is about 100 of whom are serving Life Sentences many of which have for murder. First off, your reaction to this proposal was it done directly to you guys . Was it from qatar, egypt or are you getting this through the media . Good morning, brian and everybody. You know, first of all, we are happy to receive some response from hamas because we are waiting for a while for that we [inaudible] we appreciate the involvement of the media in this process. You know we are not happy with the details of the proposal. But its an opening. We are willing to continue with the negotiation and what i would tell is you that this morning we are willing to pay a heavy price to bring back the hostages, talking about children, women while in captivity, the atrocities in the town of hamas that we learned about. But one thing we will not compromise and thats our demand not to stop the war until hamas is eradicated. Thats the core issue. On that issue we cannot compromise. On the other we are open for discussion. We are open to pay a heavy price. We want to see those hostages back home. Ainsley ambassador, it just doesnt seem fair. Wouldnt you do one hostage for one prisoner . We want to release what is it 132 hostages that are still there but they want exchange for 700 to 1,000 of their criminals that are being held in israel . You are absolutely right. You know. In the past when you look at the deals we had with hamas a few months ago, we exchange one israeli hostage for three hamas terrorists. And we have to remember. People committed massacre. The one who invaded israel on october 7th committed the atrocity they want to ask to release them now. Thats also more discussion we will have to discuss in the government. Whether we agree to that or not, you know, we meet with the families. We know we cannot wait much longer but at the same time, we have to make sure that we are not releasing people who will endanger israel in the future. Lawrence you know, ambassador, we were shocked to hear this yesterday from Senator Schumer who our Majority Leader in our country but is he calling for a new election he criticized netanyahu. If netanyahu remains in power after the war begins to wind down and continues to pursue dangerous and inflammatory policies that test existing u. S. Standards for assistance, then the United States will have no choice but to play a more active role in shaping israeli policy. I believe a new election is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decisionmaking process about the future of israel. The reason why theyre losing in court is because you cant do this to players anymore. There was once a point in time where the players just took it. And you got to use their name and you got sell their jerseys. And you got put them in commercials and take the money. But, the courts have found that you cant do that its stealing from the players. And i understand that they want to fund other programs in the schools but you got to be creative. So if you want the players to start using some of their money that they have earned with their name and their hard work. Name buildings after them. Get them to donate. If you think you are going to be able in a modern society be able to take their money from them, that they have earned its not going to happen. All of a sudden the Southern District of new york dumps thousands of pages of documents from their research of this case over the course of years on alvin braggs desk at the same time the trump team says we would like a delay until after the immunity case. So that was quashed. But, what about this alvin bragg comes out and says, i will give you the quote, matt. Although the people are prepared to proceed trial on march 25th. Well, my first thought is alvin bragg has to actually look at these documents as well and his office was preparing for trial. Scheduled for march 25th. So thats with a right around the corner. But the defendant certainly has time to prepare for that case as well. And i think what they are going to find since the Southern District of new york declined to prosecute that case is they are going to find that their case is probably even weaker than they thought and it may be exculpatory. There may be evidence that is actually very helpful to donald trump. So i think this is a good break for the former president and i think, you know, we will see if this case continues to deteriorate. But this is never the lefts scheme of using lawfare against donald trump. This was never the first case they wanted to go. Brian what you are saying those documents didnt lead predecessor from charging trump. They would have loved to charge trump. They helped the prosecution. Judge denying former President Trumps motion to dismiss the charges in the documents case. They used as evidence selective prosecution compared to Hillary Clinton and compared to president biden. Thats just one of the two things the judge has to look at. Your thought . So there is actually seven motions to dismiss. Two of them were heard yesterday. One was denied. But, you know, the malicious prosecution, the selective prosecution case is still around. Is he going to find that the evidence shows that there is a Conflict Of Interest. I think is he going to kick not only willis and wade off the case but most likely the Fulton County d. Instead what myself and other countless female athletes have seen is that the ncaa is discriminating and continues to discriminate against women on the basis of our sex. And so this means they are failing at their most basic duties to provide fair, equal, and safe competition for women. The most important part of this lawsuit, what were hoping to achieve is fair and safe competition. Thats what this is about. We want the ncaa to uphold the original intent of title ix. Ainsley when you talk about safety its not just on the court or the field its in the locker room, too . Of course. Speaking for myself and my own personal experience, we had our privacy entirely violated. When the ncaa allowed a 6422yearold man who was fully inamericans with Disabilities Act with mail genitalia into our locker room i cant put into words the feelings of betrayal. The feelings of utter violation and truly how that experience was traumatic and not even necessarily traumatic of because of what we were forced to see or how we as women were forcibly and nonconsensually exploited. Those people who created these policies and enforced these policies to totally dismiss our rights to privacy. Without even a second thought. Without even bare minimum forewarning us this would be the arrangement that was had. Ainsley i noticed there were 16 College Athletes or former athletes on this lawsuit. Will others have the opportunity to join if they want to . I believe so. That is certainly the intent as these issues continue to arise. And as more and more women lose out on opportunities or have their privacy violated or are unfortunately injured by a man in their sport more and more athletes i believe will join onto the lawsuit. What is the ncaa like . What is their response to this . Im sure you have had conversations. Is did a board . How many make up the board . As you can imagine, the ncaa has been pretty cowardly about this situation as a whole. Charlie baker the ncaa president , he sat in front of congress and the senate of plethora of times now and has been unable to answer any questions surrounding this issue. Senator josh hawley asked him seven questions in a row to which Charlie Baker said i will get back to you in writing. They dont want to touch this. They dont want to handle this or accountable or responsible. Which is why their policy now they are in this phase out approach. They want to leave it up to each specific sport governing body to make the rules for their own sports, which shows you they never really stood by the initial policy they had in place the blanket ban that was 12 months of hrt for men to be then be able to compete in the category that best aligns with how they feel. They never stood by that they know thats wrong. Thats why they want to abdicate responsibility and accountability now. Thirdly, you have got the challenge here, legal challenge. Can the American Legislature dictate to a Foreign Company that youve got to sell and it you got to sell it to us . Can you do that .
