national security adviser as recently as 48 hours ago and we'll not send money to ukraine unless we get border policy changes on our own border. con tip units back home say why -- constituents back home say where would yes help secure the border of the foreign country when we don't have our own. we've laid down the law and passed hr2, house resolution 2 and big immigration reform and border reform bill, and i've told chuck schumer himself two days ago, that is the line and we've passed out of the house and sitting on your desk collecting dust and we fix the border before we do anything. rachel: is that a money thing you're asking for. if you give more money to border and they're going to process more people. >> back to the policies in the trump-appointed era and this thing was squeezed down to almost nothing and remain in mexico, asylum reform and parole prescriptions and that's what we need to have and not throwing more money to process illegals and changing and closing the border and we're demanding and we're going to die on the hill. will: committed to all being separate funding bills? >> they have to be. there's no other way, will, to ensure stewardship over the funds and adequately make sure they're watched and spent and if you global together, you lose control over the policy and we've been so rigid on that . pete: die on that hill. there was a continued resolution passed and grumbling about and you're saying when it comes down to augment shutdown and show down, hr2 is a part of that. >> any time i meet with senate colleagues and at senate republican lunch in a few days ago and the senate democrats and hakeem jeffreys and counter part in the minority leader in the house. fio had t-shirts that would print one thing, border, border, border that's where the republicans are because that's where the american people are. we have to do that first before we do any of these other things. that's where we stand. >> this is not just a southern border issue. this is impacking communities and states across the country. look at new york and the illegal immigration crisis right here that's impacting northern border states all across this country every community is a border community and our meshes are unified in understanding that. rachel: malibu, it's in malibu. unbelievable. you're right. will: congresswoman stefanik and speaker johnson, thank you so much for being with us this morning. it's been enlightening conversation. rachel: so great to have you. come back. pete: you're earning all those grades. >> me and you both. pete: that's exactly right. giving it back to me as she should. more "fox & friends" in a moment.
