the red cross transferring 13 israelis and four foreign nationals to the border crossing earlier tonight. there release delayed after hamas claimed israel was holding up a gaza bound aid truck. qatari and egyptian officials managed to intervene and get things back on track. yesterday hamas released 13 israelis as well as ten type nationals and one filipino in two separate deals. good evening, i am jon scott. welcome back to this special edition of the fox report. we have team coverage this hour, alexandria hoff, lucas tomlinson and jeff paul. we will begin with jeff, he's in seven right now. >> extremely tense way to end day two of the agreement between israel and hamas. the latest release of 13 israeli hostages delayed by several hours but we now know that 13 are being treated. twelve are being taken to just outside tel aviv, sheba medical center for we see live images, as we await their arrival. we are learning one of the hostages, maia regret, 21-year-old kidnapped from the music festival along with her brother, she made it out but she's under surgery right now. it's not life-threatening but it's an operation she needed to undergo but today it tends time after hamas delayed the release of the latest batch of hostages. the reason they said is because they were getting enough aid trucks to northern gaza. the other part was they said they didn't like who was being released from the present israeli was -- israel was releasing. israel disagreeing without saying they were upholding their end of the bargain and this was just another example of the psychological warfare hamas is putting israel through. we know they were handed off by hamas to the red cross representatives taken to the crossing and they enter egypt and from egypt they entered israel. roughly an hour and 15 minutes ago, we know egyptians, the qatari and u.s. all got involved to make sure day to finally wrapped up. it wasn't as smooth as the day before but we still have two more to go and we are getting indications there might be a need or a want for additional days of cease-fire if hamas releases ten more hostages each day. >> what we know about those aid trucks. the israelis have always said or feared aid that goes into gaza goes straight to hamas and helped them in their terrorism fight. what do we know about what is in those aid trucks? >> what we know so far, among the trucks going in, there is fuel essential to power generators and electricity. we know they are bringing in cooking gas so they can food and stay alive but we know every truck coming in, it's probably part of the reason why there is delay, they are being checked by israelis as well to make sure they know what kind of things are being brought into gaza at this time. >> jeff paul reporting from southern israel, good news tonight. jeff, thank you. the white house as president biden spoke with qatar today about resolving the delay in releasing the second group of hostages, lucas tomlinson is live in nantucket with her president and spending the holiday weekend. >> president biden just emerged a few months ago, no doubt praying like the rest of america some of these american hostages will join israelis getting released out of gaza. the white house is hopeful three americans will be part of this initial batch of 50 hostages released from gaza. just before going in to church president biden was asked when these americans will be rel released. >> when will the hostages be released? >> i hope we will hear something soon. >> so hopefully we will see something soon is what the president said. almost a serene deal here, trauma unfolding with gaza, incredible reporting from jeff paul. a different area in nantucket, the president shopping this afternoon, he arrived about 3:00 poking around different jobs and with his family for his wife, the first lady of course, hundreds of people came out to cheer the president, some food. some pro- palestinian protesters but a few blocks away so we didn't care them as much. a different story yesterday of course, president biden after making big remarks walked to to lunch met by a handful of protesters, very vocal though saying they could not like israeli policies and yelling free palestine over and over again. the protesters followed the first family to the annual christmas tree lighting in nantucket and almost disrupted the service they had to grab the mic and say it's not a political event. he didn't say it was religious either but the whole deal was to light up the tree. that is the scene here, the president has been, hopeful americans will come out soon but it's notable that no american hostages were released today. >> i'm wondering about getting around from the president is there on nantucket, historic old island goes back to the days, the roads are narrow and gridlock on a busy weekend like this like thanksgiving anyway. thank you throw in a presidential motorcade, i imagine things come to a standstill in nantucket. >> levels will tell you the first venture capitalist right here in nantucket, the family was here, the first block coffee to nantucket and out west and one local we spoke to said the first pineapple was here, the ships went all around the world, not just talking about moby here but the tradition of getting into all of this but you sta started. jon: i did. a great museum and nantucket. lucas tomlinson with the president there. thanks, lucas. thousands of pro- palestinian demonstrators rallying in cities across the u.s. today from seattle to los angeles to new york city. many are trying to block holiday shoppers from buying anything associated with israeli businesses. alexandria hoff has more. >> we are not talking about pop-up protest, this was part of a nationwide call to action title shut it down from palestine for multiple target commercial district on black friday disrupting business as usual. the new york city, at least 1000 anti- israel protesters met in washington where are calling for palestinian uprising in the middle east. from there, massive crap russia uptown swarming black friday shoppers demanding their attention. >> people want to shop peacefully. then you have this. i think it's getting a little out of hand. i don't know what to tell you but it needs to stop. >> it has not stopped today. tomorrow protesters taking place this afternoon. the first in upper manhattan followed by another columbus circle, both uniformed and plainclothes nypd officers keeping a close eye on those. yesterday shoppers in chicago's downtown similarly were confronted democratic governors were hoping to sway people from spending money on gifts because of aid the u.s. provides to israel. >> biden and kamala harris and all congress allowing this to happen, they are implicit in this genocide. they have blood on their hands and we are going to hold them responsible. >> in cities big and small, traffic disruptions were reported in los angeles police precautionary citywide tactical alert. a large group of anti- israel protesters impacted travel and shopping at the drove shopping plaza. here in the d.c. area we saw two smaller groups causing backlogs in the city and around the popular corner shopping center in virginia. in atlanta, eight protesters were arrested near refusing to disperse from the road. >> alexandria hoff, thank you. for more on all of this, let's bring in shows our house lonnie and former spokesperson for the israeli consulate in new york. i am baffled at anti- israel protests and methodology they are taking trying to keep people from coming out and doing their holiday shopping, it doesn't seemed like an efficient way to accomplish your protest but i want your thoughts, water they doing, what is behind it? >> you for having me, there isn't much logic making themselves more hated by the majority of the american public already in support of civilization versus barbarism but there's a greater issue here when you think about what happened to palestinians and gaza strip promote the reasons why the gaza strip is in a catastrophic situation is the evil terrorist organization, so if you really do care about the palestinians, then you should demand hamas be removed from any control over palestinian lives and indeed, the idea of voters as we make our way into the gaza strip and hamas stranglehold over gazans removed her mother quite a few who come forth to the idea thanking them for being there expressing relief that hamas is away from them so as not pro- palestinian, it pro- terrorism interested in defacing and undermining not just israel but also blessed values and anti- united states of america. >> a report just now, she had the one interview with a guy in chicago who says the biden administration and congress and the senate have blood on their hands for supporting what's going on in gaza. i wonder if that guy was watching television october 7 and october 8. >> so many of them don't care about the fact but rather whether it will full it might or malice and we are witnessing the tragedy of the tik tok generation where we see support for the bin laden, there are a lot of issues we have to contend with as a society and i will even mention the report published today about the high school in queens, new york where a teacher there to go to the much for israel in washington d.c. and posted about the social media was mobbed in the school -- it's unbelievable the level of depravity we are reaching a warning sign for all, it tells us we have to deal here in the u.s. when it comes to educating our public. >> we talk about low information voters, load information protesters in my book but how do you turn it around? there seems to be so much animosity directed toward israel, how do you fix that? >> i have to tell you the truth is the latter they are, the smaller they are and we can see it during the thanksgiving parade in new york a couple of anarchists disrupting the parade and the only sound you heard was them being booed by so many people around them. the truth is i am heartened by the support of a majority of the justice and peace loving people of the united states and around the world showing support because they are making a lot of noise but their impact is zero and israel is determined to move forward not just releasing the innocent hostages from gaza but eradicating hamas making sure no longer on our southern border because the attack that came from hamas, hamas is in a radiant proxy in the attack was against israel and the united states foreign policy undermining the prospects of peace with saudi arabia and other countries. remember, that was the main conversation only a few weeks before the attack of the united nations. >> it seems iranians like to get their own hands dirty, they like to send their proxies out to do their dirty work for them. >> we say iranians will bite them until the last drop of blood, palestinians, shi'ite lebanese but you are correct. make no mistake, iranians are involved in everything and anything happening in the region, in the continuous destabilization in the middle east and it goes beyond. support for has a lot and its operation of the trafficking networks in south america that reach our borders so all of this is before us and like i always say, it's not just israel but the general world change and policies of evil actors. >> we appreciate your insights tonight, thank you. >> always a pleasure to be with you, john. >> will be back with a special edition of fox report the spring and keeley mckee, editor for the washington examiner and senior fellow for the independent wind forum. i said it before in this broadcast a rare bit of good news i was of gaza all right, we are having trouble connecting with her audio. we will try to get that fixed and bring her back in a moment but the headline, 17 hostages and therapeutic there pictures along with her names, 17 hostages released from hamas in a prisoner exchange. thirty-nine prisoners from israeli jails, palestinian prisoners released in exchange for 13 israelis you see on the screen as well as for my nationals. they were believed to work in the gaza border employed and various areas by israeli -- israelis. they were taken hostages along with 13 israelis you see here released today. the siva medical center you see on the left of your screen, a major medical center outside tel aviv. it is where the hostages are going to be taken to decompress, get medical treatment, check battle signs and make sure everything is well with them and perhaps even undergo psychological counseling. we are told they will be released to the families as soon as practical but again, many of these people will only learn others in their families have been slaughtered by the hamas terrorists so not going to be an entirely joyful experience for those 13 israelis. we will be back with more fox report in just a moment. our coverage of israel's war on hamas continues now. here's a look at some headlines. israeli military says the second group of hostages hamas released has been returned to israel. according to the idf, hostages included 13 israelis and four type nationals. they are taken to hospitals for observation and will be reunited with their families. the hostages were released late today only after an agonizing hours long delay. earlier today hamas claimed israel was not letting on of aid into gaza. mediators from qatar in egypt helped resolve the issue. israel set to free 39 palestinian prisoners early tomorrow under the agreement. for more on these and other stories, download the fox news act, scan the qr code on your screen or go to fox news.com/apps. the red cross tonight helping liver the second group of hostages to israel after their release from hamas. they included 13 israelis, six women and seven children, one of them three years old. we reestablished our connection now with kaylee mcghee white, her editor from washington examiner and senior fellow for the independent forum. great glee obviously at this release but there are hundreds of hostages being held in those hamas tunnels. we can't forget that. >> it is bittersweet because even many of the hostages released today, these were partial families released. they still have relatives being held by hamas in the tunnels of gaza and this is in violation of the terms hamas and israel were negotiating. israel requested family units would be released together and we know 13-year-old girl was released today while her mother is held in hamas custody. we know to little girls were released today without their father in hamas custody and the only living relative now so this is a bittersweet moment where israel is reading for the loss of hostages and the question of whether they will be returned and in what condition they will be returned and so a lot at stake here. the negotiations, it's good they worked out today but today proved this is going to be a long drawn out process and nothing is guaranteed moving forward. >> at this rate, they could engineer another 15 or so hostage releases like this if they are releasing 13 to 17 at a time. they have more -- roughly 200 hostages still held in their hamas tunnels. >> make no mistake, part of the goal for hamas by keeping families separated from holding partial families back gaza while releasing some from a this is part of their psychological warfare. it is to maintain leverage over israel which they tried to do it again today, they tried to push the balance to see what they could get away with and even a complaint they weren't happy with the prisoners israel was releasing back to them. this is hamas testing the bounds of what is acceptable seeing how much they can get israel and how much they can get away with it so we do need to keep in mind hamas is not being benevolent in any of this, the rock-bottom bottom line is to release hostages unwillingly taken from their homes so they don't deserve any credit and any of this and there is an element from a they are using this to continue manipulative ms. real and hold families over israel had. >> the people out protesting in los angeles and chicago and new york and decrying the treatment of palestinians at the hands of the israelis, short memories. they don't remember what happened in israel two days ago or if they do remember it or if they bother to logical they choose to ignore it. >> they are. i think it is the latter, they are choosing to ignore it. i wonder how many of these activists we seen tearing down posters and new york, posters and washington d.c. and cities across the country of kidnapped israelis being held in gaza, i wonder how many of them are seeing hostages get off the bus and get safe back into israel. i wonder how many of them realize those were the pictures they were tearing down and some of the pictures they tore down quite never come home. these were real people and the activists know that and choose to ignore that because it -- it doesn't go along with their political agenda. they should be ashamed of themselves, it's wicked. at the end of the day, that's what it is and again i wish they would have to be forced to look israeli hostages in the eyes and say i tore down your poster when you have no hope, no friends, you are lost in gaza, i tore down your poster and i didn't want you to come home because that is the message they were communicating think about. >> very, very good. i'm glad we could reestablish your connection, thanks very much. >> thank you. >> we will be back with more of our special coverage in a two d hour fox report inau just a momention.. after 50 days, hamas released the second group of hostages and those hostages are back on israeli soil. thirteen women and children, one of them 3-year-old girl along with four thai nationals. today's release delay after hamas looks for something israel in aid truck on route to gaza. jeff paul live in southern israel with the latest on this rare bit of good news out of gaza. >> we confirmed all 17 hostages released by hamas today are now underway to area hospitals for assessment. for the international foreign nationals are heading to hospitals outside of tel aviv, 12 of the israelis are heading to a hospital outside of tel aviv, she the hospital and we note one of the israelis was taken to the hospital closer to the egyptian and israeli border due to her condition. she needs to undergo a particular surgery but we are told it's not life-threatening. today caps off what a very stressful intent time unlike the day before which went rather smooth. today was delayed by several hours and that's due in part to hamas' issue with israel not living up to the end of the bargain. those are their words, they believe israel was playing games with them as far as who's being released from israeli jails and wanted to see more eight trucks getting into northern gaza. israel disagreeing saying this was just another example of the psychological warfare hamas often uses against israel. it underscores how fragile the deal is between israel and hamas. there really isn't very much trust between both parties and this is just day two. we are expecting two more days of this four day in total cease-fire between israel, hamas and exchange of hostages to palestinian prisoners, 39 of them were released today that there are signals that could be some relief on the horizon, qatari mediators saying there is an appetite for possibly more days of cease-fire is more hostages are released. for every ten israelis released, there will be an additional day of a pause in the war. we should mention by this time yesterday and the day before, israeli government had a list of the names of hostages set to be released the following day. that hasn't happened yet but once it does, we will let you know. >> we are watching what's going on in gaza where palestinians, it appears thousands have gathered. they are waiting for the first busloads of palestinian prisoners coming out of israeli jails and there is a live look at it, it should be pointed out once again for those who aren't familiar, these are not hostages, these are prisoners, people convicted of crimes against israel, murders, terrorism and all kinds of things but 39 of them are being let go going back into gaza as a result of prisoner exchange. you could say in one regard that hamas or palestinians are getting the better of it, 39 of their prisoners coming home in exchange for 17 israeli and tied hostages but if a deal israel will continue to make because they want their people back for that matter, we in america have ten american hostages with not heard anything about yet. >> so far, note americans on the list but overall israeli government wants to see everyone come home. this war from the start has always been two-pronged, they said in part it's to get hostages home but the other part is to root up hamas. as we stand up in southern israel, we haven't heard the booms of outgoing artillery and this is the first time i've reported from southern israel without wearing a protective vest because the cease-fire is holding up but again, so many moving parts, it's a fragile thing and very little trust on both sides. that's why hamas and israel are leading on these negotiators from qatar, egypt and the u.s. >> jeff paul reporting live from southern israel on screen watching folks in various parts of the west bank awaiting the release of 39 former palestinian prisoners held in israeli jails. those 39 released in exchange for hostages hamas took in that muddy raid into israel october 7. our coverage of today's second hostage release continues, 13 israeli women and children from a fourth type nationals are back on israeli soil now after 50 days in captivity in gaza's network of tunnels. in exchange, 39 palestinian prisoners are to be released by israel. the idea says those breeze read hostages are back in israel. let's bring in retired navy seal officer, former recon marine and ceo of talent workgroup. i am a little astounded i guess, back when october 7 began israel bounty retaliation, i assumed they would blow smithereens out of network of tunnels and possibly killed some of the hostages in the process, hamas would like nothing better than to be able to blame a death like that on israel but appears so far that has not happened. israelis seem to be doing a good job taking out some of the tunnels but making sure they don't hold viable people inside. give us your take because you've done this kind of thing as a navy seals. >> you have to understand situation is much more complex than what we experienced tonight in iraq or afghanistan. israel values life so they are very systematic how they clear the tunnels in order to rescue as many hostages as possible. in hostage rescue's are very complex operation that are delicately and carefully planned to maximize success. unfortunately, due to the volatility of rescue missions, they don't always and that way. >> it has been noted with got american hostages being held by hamas. i'm sure behind the scenes there are folks, maybe even active duty seals advising israelis, do you see at any time a role for the united states and perhaps a hostage rescue mission? >> i can tell you special operations hostage rescue forces trained in this happen planning since october 7, this entailed sharing going on between israel and the united states. what's going on income to medical attention as quickly as possible and psychological treatment for reintegration but they hold viable intel. thirty-nine hostages 39 different perspectives provide forces, israeli forces that will aid them in a hostage rescue but make no mistake, american forces are postured to move quickly and an opportunity to rescue americans comes up. >> you talk about intelligence sharing, there seems to be a fair bit of a mystery about the tunnel network under gaza. israelis know they are there but they don't know exactly where, they don't know how deep they go or how many of them there are so how do you go about finding hostages and releasing them if that is where they are not inch by inch. i can guarantee you with inch israeli forces take through the tunnels, they are gaining intelligence on the network, the spiderweb network of tunnels. again, it goes back to the complexity of this, we didn't encounter any complex tunnels like the idf dealing with gaza. the slope systematic approach for the tunnels and once they confirm hostages are no longer in a session, they will demolish the tunnels so hamas no longer can use them for physical treatment. >> it should be noted the protesters on the streets crying on behalf of the palestinian people, the palestinian people live in squalor in part because hamas would rather spend millions of dollars engineering complex tunnels under the city of gaza to make war against israel than help their own people. >> that is the bittersweet nature of our country, the first amendment right to pour into the streets and demonstrate for a cause even if it is grotesque and lacks perspective. make no mistake, hamas is one of the palestinians and harm's way get relentless anti- israel global media campaign, no one is taking that into account the fact that israel is given hard evidence, photographs, video of barbaric acts that took place october 7 but we got to protect the first amendment right for citizens. unfortunately sometimes they are just off. jon: it's good to get your perspective. it good news the 17th hostages are released, four of them tie, 13 israelis. let's hope for more in the could be more. we appreciate your time tonight,
