>> again, georgia 41 hostages. what we know about the condition the likely expectation that many of them if not the majority are in the intricate system of underground tunnels. we heard no cooperation from hamas, no attempt to either have families contact them from the israeli forces continually asking the red cross can get into verify the conditions of the hostages and that of course has not come to for which and at this point more artillery ramping up in a lot of questions of what this will mean for the soldiers, the main focus dismantling hamas and fighting the hostages. in reference to what you're asking if the cease-fire is on the table. as far as israeli forces, there is no chance of his cease-fire but the u.s. is pushing with a temporary pause again not a cease-fire in their words. trey: thank you for risking your own personal safety to bring us the information that we need. stay safe. >> thank you. >> the war in the middle east is raising the threat of terrorism in the u.s. to a new level that is according to the fbi director christopher wray. multiple terror groups have called for attacks against americans and urge their followers to target jewish communities. meanwhile iran continues to be the orchestrate tour of mayhem in the region, largely without any consequence from the u.s. joining us mr. rob greenway who served on the national security council and a senior officer with the defense intelligence agency and the u.s. army special forces veteran. thank you so much for joining us. is this becoming a west versus arab persian war or can it remain a war against terrorist who happen to be had children. >> thank you. for having me on. i think there's an opportunity for opponents and we seen this attempt before. it has failed and if we are careful we can focus on the segment and the biggest problem which is a terrorist themselves and the sponsors behind them. you name them just a moment ago that is tehran. if we are successful at holding tehran accountable i think we can focus ourselves and the israelis on the terrorist is a problem and not allow this to escalate into something that is a clash between civilizations. >> we heard from the head of hezbollah who blamed the u.s. and israel for the war and he also claimed he was just as surprised as the rest of us and he claimed iran had nothing to do with it. you are the expert i am not i find that very hard to believe but what do you think. >> fortunately you don't have to be an expert, it's altogether evident that the head of hamas was in tehran beating with the supreme leader, we know all of them have essentially admitted to the fact that they were collaborating before the attacks took place in the articles were published in the wall street journal and the new york times. there is no secret about this and no one understands either organization would tell you there is a world that this would occur without tehran's direct control and that's what we see play out on a daily basis. it is impossible to withhold the belief that tehran is not in fact responsible for this. >> are former president obama weighed in on the middle east by saying both sides have dirty hands. it strikes me however, that one side is dirty and blood he hands and that would be the blood of innocent israelis. i don't understand this both side is them that he engaged in over the weekend, i want to be fair with him but playing both sides when you have hostages being held and raped and beheaded children did not seem to help matters. what did you think about what the former president had to say. >> he may have been speaking more about himself than anyone else but i agree with you and i think most would agree the aggravated party is israel that has every right to respond to the brutal terrorism in october 7 in the way that they are in any cause for restraint and equivocation are not doing justice to the victims of the terrorist attack which included 33 americans but it is not a surprise. that is the idea that president obama and now president biden are using to apply to the region and has been applied to the israel palestine conflict and yielded absolutely no progress in the 40 plus years it is been attempted only when we recognize that is not the case and we made progress and that's what occurred during the trump administration. trey: we have 30 seconds but i have to ask goodbye did administration keeps warning iran, will the biden administration ever do anything then worn iran will they actually do something to retaliate against iran? >> they have not yet in tehran in this arrogance to believe that they will. if that is the case the attacks will escalated all be worse. we are appeasing and deterring ourselves not iran. >> thank you so much for joining us on a sunday night. i have a suspicion that you and i will be talking again as the work continues on. thank you. >> thank you i look forward to it. >> coming up from the college classroom to the town square, anti-semitism is on the rise fueled by the same hate as yesteryear the israeli special envoy for combating anti-semitism joins us next on sunday night the chase ink business premier card is made for people like sam, who make- everyday products, designed smarter. like a smart coffee grinder, that orders fresh beans for you. oh, genius! for more breakthroughs like that- i need a breakthrough card. like ours! with 2.5% cash back on purchases of $5,000 or more. plus unlimited 2% cash back on all other purchases. and with greater spending potential, sam can keep making smart ideas- a brilliant reality! the ink business premier card from chase for business. make more of what's yours. mara, are you sure you don't want -to go bowling with us tonight? [shouting] >> we will remember in 2024. >> alexandria hoffa's in delaware as a white house response. alexandria? >> you just saw on the screen the last line of the video accusing the president of the united states of supporting genocide not just the president of the free world a member of congresswoman to leaves own party if you remember a couple weeks ago the white house was speaking out against squad members and the use terms like disgraceful and repugnant. the white house did respond today but their words were not as direct. >> we strongly disagree with some of the messaging and the terms used to describe this conflict, the characterizations and the terms used have technical definitions and historical precedents and we do not accept their application to this particular war. >> a little division of violence counterproductive to promoting peace none of the elected leader should amplify a language that inflames intense situations and makes it harder for communities to find common ground. you mention the phrase from the river to the sea it does imply israel being erased from existence. bernie sanders responded to rashida tlaib and squad members for the cease-fire while progressive house member attempted to clarify what she feels is cease-fire means. >> i don't how you can have a permanent cease-fire with an organization like hamas which is dedicated to turmoil and chaos in destroying the state of israel when i say cease-fire i understand we can't have a permanent cease-fire that is not really realistic. but what you do you call for a cease-fire it's a negotiated settlement. >> the white house has not responded to the vandalism that took place at the white house last night. >> you know alexandria i'm sitting there scratching my head i'm defending joe biden and the white house they said the technical definition, there is a largely accepted definition for genocide that is not something that you accuse anyone much less in your own party, is that a forceful response that the white house will give us a technical definition. >> i doubt it, i think maybe the soundbite and that was a response from the white house that we got today. but i'm thinking that was in regards to the river to the sea because accusing the president of the united states of genocide was not a slip of the tongue that was written out in text on the screen it was very intentional and a couple of weeks ago we heard strongly from the white house for into israel statements from squad members. i'm assuming perhaps hoping we will hear more from the white house hopefully tomorrow the. >> you're probably right it was probably a reference from the river to the sea but that means pushing israel into the sea that is not good either. thank you for joining us on a sunday people of the district, the good people of minnesota that we are not a supporter of terrorist like hamas. yesterday i viewed the 45 minute horrific video of what hamas terrorist have done since october 7. i saw them waving isis flags. when we say hamas is isis, they have their flags. i've seen terrible terrible scenes that the public hasn't seen yet. and you know what, it is sickening and sad that we have lawmakers and politicians that support the bloodthirsty kille killers. trey: you are right most people have not seen these videos because they cannot see them. they are unwatchable, you cannot show them on television. but rashida tlaib makes literally no effort to conceal her anti-jewish beliefs. she accused joe biden and the rest of us of committing genocide. i wonder if representative bill han omar believes that also that the u.s. is supporting a genocide when it backs israel and defending itself. >> it is enough to watch or read what she post on twitter and facebook and social media she's quite clear and more poisonous than the russians claim. the thing is we don't need these people in our country as leaders and politicians. ill han omar over and over she kept saying since day one that the jews or israel is we all remember it's all about the benjamin. it is quite clear ill han omar is never shy of expressing her feelings and that's why we all need to, as americans we need to unite against the toxic politicians. and that's why i wanted to come to israel to tell the israelis that we americans are with you. we are not represented by the few who cannot
