>> no pause. president biden started with rights instinct, to help israel defend itself after worst massacre of jews since the holocaust and help israel destroy hamas so itener happens again. he seems to be giving to the left, the intifada, they do not recognize israel's right to exist. what does it say about our president it only takes a few days of msnbc criticism to change his stance. hamas has american blood on its hands, american hostages and many young children in its hands. we should be pressuring states like qatar to extradite hamas officials so they can't get away with the war crimes and hamas officials are legitimate targets and if you harbor them you are assuming significant risk. we are sleep walking into a ceasefire that benefits hamas, iran and allies like russia and china, bad decision. >> brian: you know this, yesterday you had john kirby bragging on qatar. do you believe if you are israel, are they target for assassination? >> that praise is ridiculous. we had the qataris take to the pages of major american newspapers saying we're a honest broker in the middle east, which is nonsense. they are non-nato allies. the status quo is unsustainable and hamas has targeted americans in addition to israelis, so the signal we are sending will increase iranian aggression. israel being attacked from gaza, lebanon, yemen right now. u.s. troops being attacked by iranian puppets and hezbollah is escalating. this will increase aggression. we need to restore american deterrence. >> steve: ladies first. >> ainsley: thank you. yesterday y'all passed a bill to give money to israel taking funds from the irs. democrats and senate are saying this will not pass, they will not vote for it, even if it does, the president says he will veto it. what is the plan to give money to help israel? >> the president's veto threats are hollow, we have to immediately pass support for israel. if senate wants to pas a counter proposal, we'll look at it. ours was bipartisan votes. my hope is democrats don't play politics with this proposal. the president's attempts to link these things together into one massive 100 billion pot of money that will pass on christmas eve, that is bad legislating and bad policy. i think we can take care of israel in bipartisan fashion and consider the other things we need to do like defense appropriations and good faith negotiation on ukraine and border. the president's veto threats do not help at all, i don't take them that seriously. >> steve: how much are you worried the president will go wobbly? he has been steadfast saying we stand in solidarity with israel, but swing states are calling and saying because this administration has -- we are 100% behind israel, that is alienating arab americans and in michigan, where the largest population of arab americans live, the president's popularity is 17%. donald trump is double that. are they freaking outa the white house? >> i think so. i mentioned the intifada left they have to deal with, the white house is unwilling to do the most obvious thing, change their iran policy. their attempt to resuscitate the obama iran deal. we see disturbing pattern from afghanistan to ukraine, the weakness creates chaos and biden administration takes credit for the chaos they caused. integrated deterrence is working in ukraine. it is unwillingness to recognize mistake and correct course that has me most worried. he needs new foreign policy team if he wants to turn it around. >> brian: i agree, get new people in there. lastly, you know what it is like to be in a military base in iraq. targets have been hit 28 times and they have been hit seven times or maybe nine now since we went back to syria. how important to take out the militia before this ends catastrophe. >> my first deployment was attacked. that is odd given how peaceful things were on my second deployment temperature is imperative, we have to sleep in the only language that dictators and terror-sponsored regimes understand, hard power. if we don't reestablish our willingness to impose in kind and impose maximum pressure and target their troops and commanders, we will only see further iranian aggression. statements from the state department will reestablish deterrence, that is not how it works. >> lawrence: who is prohibiting response?
