And the intelligence has information about the tunnels but they certainly do not have all the information and they simply no way to get a full grasp of a map of where exactly could be held. Harris how did they find themselves in this position . Because it sounds like a desperate attempt to get intelligence. It is grace after the fact and they were worried about boobytraps but its taking some time to get in and they made it to a couple of the deadliest seeds. You have to gather every bit of intelligence that you can get to make sure that you give yourself the greatest chance of success. As a commander of forces and in combat, when i see gaza city and everything surrounding it, what i see is a bloodied warfare coming. And its going to be hard for the idf. So every little bit of intelligence they can gather is an advantage. Ive seen them reporting about israel telling the u. N. To evacuate within 24 hours and what came to mind is could this be a precursor for the full scale Ground Invasion . Do you think that could be the case or is this related to the small intrusions you see along the border as what was just referred to . It could be both. It is an advantage in both ways but israel and the idf did not have to warn the Palestinian People that they are coming in the first place that is a step that they have usually taken in some way and another conflict and it provides a warning to the enemy. But i would say that primarily i would focus on the fact that this is a warning not only to an oncoming Ground Invasion but the ongoing air strikes that are there to get as many people out of the way as possible so they can focus on reducing casualties and also reducing the risk for the Defense Forces in any rescue teams that will be moving into the area as well. This is emily, i have a two layer question, as you talk about the Ground Forces that we are expecting, it cost a mind to fallujah and beirut. To the second part of your question, the psychology of all of this. It is extremely important that they show that they are the people who are there to recover their own people and to show victories as they are able to without risking their own forces in their techniques in the process. That is a big part of all of hostage rescue. The psychological aspect. And its absolutely critical for understanding it is just beyond some showing the factories its their humanity part. But it is also important that everybody around the world right now, as we see these protests they remind us that terrorists live on fear. We should demonstrate resolve first. Something was said really interestingly said, that hamas has a special group as well, theyre less of us Fighting Force but this special Operator Group that dave used as well. So how legitimate is hamas as a military group. Essentially what is the idf up against when they go r in termsf this Ground Fighting . I would not downplay hamass capabilities.
