Take a look at the timeline of events from when she was abducted to when she was found. Charlotte vanished some time after 6 15 p. M. Showered night when she took a bike ride with some friend. Her parents quickly became concerned as the sun went down. They called 911 after they found her bike abandoned in the woods. Police immediately began searching for charlotte declaring her missing and showing amber alert on sunday morning. Here is where things get really interesting. Early yesterday Morning Police say the system actually showed up at the familys house to drop a Ransom Note In the mailbox. Police were able to lay of the fingerprint, trace it to the suspects camper was charlotte was eventually found. Governor kathy hochul addressing the public yesterday once an arrest was made. Listen. There was some resistance. The suspect was taken into custody, and immediately the little girl was found in a cabinet, cupboard. She was rescued. 47yearold Craig Nelson Ross jr. So, my guess is that over the course of the next couple days, weeks and months, people are going to be oh, yeah, i saw that person and then his background will, i think, come into a little bit more focus. The last five minutes was outstanding because the judge essentially conceded that the statute of limitations that we won at the Court Of Appeals is in effect; therefore, about 80 of the case is over. I was going to come out and say that, as you know, we are not entitled to a jury, which is pretty unusual in the United States of america, so we think its very unfair that i dont have a jury. But the judges last statement was very fair. And if i read it right, i interpret that in the way everyone else in the room seems to interpret that the statute of limitations is a very real thing in this country. And that would be about 80 of this case would be over. Ainsley he was saying because the transactions prior to 2014 are now not a bart of this case. So thats why 80 of the case he says is over. When it comes to the jury trial. Alina was asked with that with carley and todd. She said section 6312 no right to a jury trial. There is no option to check a box for a jury trial because a lot of people saying why didnt she allow for a jury. Steve they forgot to check the box. Ainsley she said that was not an option. And the reason its got a lower value is because its not a residence. It was deemed restricted as a private club. However, Law Enforcement was able to get their hands on that note and able to match fingerprints that they had in their system from 1990s dui that this individual had been charged with.
