They didnt reach out to us, okay, to find out who is really electability coming in the election. What we need out here in the lawrence what about you maam, what did you see there was there a moment that you thought thats my guy or gal . I thought all the candidates had suggestions and feelings for the country. They had great points for me not one in continuing, no. Lawrence sir, was there any ccandidate that dethroned donald trump . He is the big Elephant In The Room he just wasnt. There i still think he is the big Elephant In The Room. What i saw last night was really an audition to join the Trump Administration as a Cabinet Member or running mate. I still dont think anyone did enough to take him out of the top spot. Lawrence thats the thoughts that we have been hearing from folks all morning. They wanted to see more. They wanted to hear about the forgotten men and women. They wanted to hear about policy. It just doesnt seem like any candidate rose to the occasion. They talked about what they would do. It wasnt that fiery moment, guys. I will send it to you in new york. Brian fire moments. A lot of people talking over each other all candidates knew this was their moment. They wanted to come the candidate everyone was talking about today. I dont think anyone lost. I think Governor Desantis is the only one who improved markedly from week one. Although tim scott started off strong and then at the end he wasnt called on much. Steve ron desantis we really didnt see him much in the first hour but he made up for lost time in the second hour. You know, over the last week or two we have been talking about i wonder what those sound bites were going to be talking about are . You know, those moments . I think one of them we just played in that montage at the top of the show its when Chris Christie the former governor of the great state of new jersey said donald was ducking and came up with a new nickname donald duck. And the other one was in this soundbite. And its where nikki haley goes after and tim scott both go after vivek ramaswamy. Its been revealed this week that apparently vivek once upon a time, not that far ago, actually, did business in china and, in fact, was involved in the same family that paid hunter biden millions of dollars. Anyway, haley and scott went after him on that and this is how that went. Every time i hear you i feel a little bit dumber for what you say. Because i cant believe. Tiktok situation. What theyre doing 150 Million People are on tiktok. That means they can get your contacts, they can get your financial information. They can get your emails. They can get text messages. They can get all of these things. China knows exactly what theyre doing. Party and im going to say it. Made in china not america. Excuse me. Lawrence brian, you make such a powerful point because heres the deal viveks entire campaign trying to get to the point where you communicate from a republican standpoint with young voters in a better way. And so a lot of young folks regardless of the threat on r. On tiktok regardless is it is a threat. The president of the United States will need to have a decision whether we need to ban tiktok and china and all of that the one frustrating thing for all the politicians on the stage is that vivek makes all the issues sound so simple that the issues have such a simple solution. They are so used to going on platitudes and talking in long form about policy. And so i think what nikki haley was saying is, you know, i feel like you dumb this stuff down but its actually a lot more complex than you make it out to be. We will see if it works with the american public. I think there is something authentic from the American Peoples standpoint about a politician that is quite direct. Again, the voters are going to have to decide. I think there is going to be a lot to chew on with that exchange alone, steve. Steve yeah. Well, you know, and a lot of people are talking about it. About how bad it is but heres the reality. Because there are mrs. And millions of young americans, who politicians want to vote for them on tiktok. Tiktok aint going anywhere. I didnt come here to watch a debate i came to be part of a president ial debate. When we got topics where i know i have got more experience, more relevant experience, more current experience as a sitting governor than everybody else on the stage yeah, you have got to fight. Im ready to fight for the American People. Feel great. I think we are moving to a different phase of this campaign. Im thinking about how we actually lead this country forward. A lot of personal attacks came my way. Im not bothered by that. Do you think you opened that box by saying everyone is bought and paid for and then today saying 11th commandment lets not talk about it but they are still ready to come after you . I dont think so. I think even if the first debate you can watch the footage they came for me first. Im not in this debate to play tit for tat like toddlers. We are adults and patriots. Somebody is going to have to rise above that and step above as a leader. Thats what i aim to do on that stage tonight. I want to level with people. I got to be frank about this. I am the new guy. Its okay for me to take some heat. I should it. Should be a right of passage but i have to earn the trust of people across this country. I get that and i embrace it and accept it. What is it like to watch the debates from your Vantage Point . I am so proud of him. He showed who he really is he is a unifier. He is a leader. This is the person who is murdering people in his own country and now not having enough blood. He is now going to ukraine to murder innocent civilians and kidnap 20,000 children. And let me tell you, if you think thats where its going to stop . If we give him any of ukraine, next will be president Obama Administration. This is a guy who said. They say he built 458 miles of wall because it includes secondary barriers and much of the replacement as really no comparison. It was actually rail ties and replaced by 30foot bollards. So he did improve and add onto the wall. Would you agree with that . Look, brian, he said he was going to build the wall across the entire border of the United States and mexico. And that mexico was going to pay for it. And when you go on when you go on the website and look it up its 52 new miles of wall. Thats what he built. He improved some other parts but it doesnt matter because in the end not only didnt he do what he promised to do, we paid for all of it. His promises in 15 and 16 were a lie. He didnt accomplish it. He didnt get it done. Nor did he change our Immigration Laws one bit so that they could be sustained in a democratic presidency. All of them got reversed by joe biden. And he had a republican majority his first two years in the house and the senate to get it done. And he didnt get it done because he spent more time bickering with people like john mccain than he did actually getting something done. Brian but he did get i was down there. If have you one or two candidates solid second place show they are the alternative to yesterdays news as i like to say it, thats really what they need to do it. Those candidates dont have to win but donald trump cant lose. If donald trump loses iowa and New Hampshire he is really toast. If any of those candidates can just differentiate from themselves which is why with trump not on the staining it doesnt matter right now. Lawrence who do you think had a moment there that the voters said, okay, this is a person i can support . I will say this, i think nikki haley showed that the first debate wasnt an an enter recognition. Wasnt a flash in the pan. She understands that elections are about choices and differentiation. And she knows she does her homework on all the other candidates. I think desantis did very well as well. Vivek is still vivek. He is fiery, incredibly smart. Comes wellprepared as well. I thought burgum and tim scott did not push themselves on the stage the first debate but they really kind of made sure they were part of that discussion this time around. Lawrence are you going to make an endorsement . Absolutely. Lawrence the reason why i ask is folks are looking for that to be the game changer in New Hampshire. Maybe not in iowa but in New Hampshire, you are very popular here. You made the decision that this is enough for me and my family. Is there a candidate in the race. A lot of governors in the race that you are going to support . Oh, look, when i decide who im going to vote for, im not very good about being coy. Im i will let everybody know about it. I will get behind and candidate. Lawrence what is taking so long right now they havent made the case just yet. They havent made the case just yet. They havent made the case for most voters yet. Most voters wont decide who they are voting for until after thanksgiving. Polls dont matter right now, they really dont. That differentiation comes much, much later as the field win knows itself down. Anybody who can find a moment to be the alternative to be on that stage alone at a moment very high profile thats again a differentiator. Its a great move to do it. I dont know if trump will take the bait so to say. Any chance they can get to stand out from the crowd. Thats why they have to be on the ground here and in iowa. Ads are fine.
