This stuff is what theyre about at the moment. Lighter regulation has been a staple of the Republican Partys view of things. I would not expect a great deal of disagreement among the candidates on that stage tonight. I think that they are all pretty much in the same place on that. It is a defining issue between the two parties. Defining issues within the party, one of which im worried will not be much talked about tonight and im talking about ukraine. Im personally worried, concerned, that the Republican Party is becoming isolationist. Something that Ronald Reagan would not have approved of. Shannon he did talk about things like a strong military. One of the things he rebuilt. Power through strength through power. I want to bring up Something Else on fox business. Com they talk about this vibe were feeling. It is looking like it is going to be a very different kind of Foreign Policy if you look at what people like leading candidates are saying, even ron desantis and certainly donald trump are saying about this issue, that we should withdraw from the world. I think pulling away from ukraine, as many republicans seem to want to do, would be likely disastrous in the same way pulling out of afghanistan proved to be. People can argue about whether we should have engaged there in the first place, thats true. We are where we are and we have to examine the consequences of withdrawing from these commitments weve made and the effect they would have on world peace. Menendez voted to find him guilty even though those gifts pale in comparison to what the government is alleging he was accepting even at the time he was a juror. That was before the first bribery trial. Now the government is suggesting that after his first bribery trial, he went at it with a vengeance and started to solicit these types of benefits again. He is correct he is entitled to a presumption of innocence. We have to keep that mow in mind. The Supreme Court made it difficult of what constitutes bribery but we cant ignore the evidence, which is really glaring and unsettling. You also have been here for a week. What have you noticed . To see the Space Transform as we are seeing now is absolutely incredible. When you look at the Reagan Library candidates will be thinking what they need to say and convince voters. But i dont think you can be in this space without taking something in because it is incredibly gorgeous, nestled in the hills of simi valley. You cant pick a better spot. The president being reagan. The last president that beat a Seated Democrat in the president s office. During that first run of office, he said something very poignant for those running today. He asked the question are you better off today than you were four years ago . If the answer is yes, i think i know who you should be voting for. If it was no it was him and he won. Nearly half of americans say thats the case for them. These candidates have an opportunity to take in reagan and make that point tonight.
