I think the intention was probably to get out of this habit of sort of banning things that, you know, we dont like. But that is certainly a Slippery Slope and historically its been a Slippery Slope but on the flip side this level of State Intervention and what is going to be taught in schools but also, not just that aspect of it, but whats going to happen if you dont comply with the law here, and thats what gets interesting with the fines and sort of supervision involved with that. I think theres a lot of reasons why in this day and age people would want to home school. Theres a lot of other things out there like school shootings, theres bullying. Its also important to look at this was a study of a thousand people, so its not representative of everyone, but i think it certainly points to a trend that were seeing particularly post pandemic when, you know, when there are more Family Members at openly that can home school, why not keep them there and teach the values you would like.
