I think its too little too late, the unions are very skeptical of joe biden compared to other democrats. They know that the Democratic Party at large is abandoning those Core Principles that used to galvanize Union Households toward the party, bret. China, obviously, much more important. Shipping jobs and wealth overseas. And, of course, this climate extremism. That is hurting these auto workers and other unions. And by the way joe biden spent 1. 5 hours, 90 minutes on the ground with elm. This lets not be fooled by a bunch of b roll and sound bites. Flying here to california for a fundraiser. Probably to talk about electric vehicles. Weak point for biden. The Washington Post and abc poll coming out saying 70 of the population really not on board with the economy. Its not good for them. So thats a big moment for these republican candidates to kind of set themselves apart. And i think ron desantis, more than anybody, really needs to kind of break out from the crowd. The Washington Examiner today was kind of comparing it to the rope adope saying he needs to get away from the rope adope. Mohammed George Foreman in manila and get ahead. Right now he is either running in place or running behind. Nikki haley is kind of inching up but ron desantis needs a moment if you are going to compete against the former president you need your donors and support. This is a problem for the president because he has no good news in any polling. Border security is his worst issue, 23 approve of the job is he doing, immigration is different than Border Security. People look at Border Security not about denying people entry. They look at Border Security as sovereignty, security, freedom from drugs. He doesnt have good news on any major issue or personal attribute. Hunter exacerbates that. Bret of the issue president is facing here and you look at these polls, harold, where do you see it . Is this going to keep creep up one key issues. Age or border . What . I put him in two categories. One his age is on the minds of a lot of voters. Its interesting that governor newsom, obviously we are here in california. He has been assigned to be the surrogate for the campaign here at the debate. I think he is pretty good at it. He has also been cited as someone who might run in 28 or even in 24. Age is one thing. I think the second thing the border has always been an issue, i believe my party has got to deal with differently. Abortion is something that i think will favor democrats. Not that people want abortions but protecting the right for women to get abortion. And the border and crime alarming numbers. I saw those Business People in oakland earlier in the show. Thats happening everywhere. They are not protesting like that. But they certainly are concerned. Bret 30 car jacks a day thats insane. Crime on the border and abortion for republicans social issues and then the president has to deal with the age issue. These are issues that could creep up. They are protesting in oakland. Thats the whole thing. Protesting today. Business owners walked out. They left their businesses behind. They know they are losing money but they say its worth it because they cannot do business in oakland because ever the laws. California says we are going to crack down on retail crime. They will do everything except change the laws for retail crime to make crime legal. They refuse to do it but they are pouring money to try and stop it and its just not working.
