The president pointed to the january jobs report out today to bolster his beliefs that the country needs every dollar that he is asking for. The economy added only 49,000 jobs last month. The Teachers Union refused. We are failing those children by not giving them the option to return to school. An estimated 2300 teachers in fairfax county, virginia, amounts to open the school. That means more than 600 staffers will classrooms while the teacher is on the screen. Federation of teachers told members not to report to unsafe buildings on monday. The cdc director says schools can reopen with protocols. A Safe Reopening does not suggest that teachers need to be vaccinated in order to reopen safely.
