On the merits, the president is protected by the First Amendment and i dont think anybody really seriously honestly can say that what he said was a call to violence, which would be what would be required to overcome First Amendment protections. And i dare say if this were a criminal case there werent too many judges that would allow a case like this to get to a jury. No rational jury would convict. And then second, they denied him due process in the house with regard to a rushed proceeding. And effectively denied him counsel because counsel didnt appear before the house took the unusual step of proceeding directly to an article of impeachment. And now what jamie raskin wanted to attempt to do was to essentially swipe away and cast aside the president s Fifth Amendment privilege not to testify. So again, you know, how many provisions of the bill of rights are going to be cast aside in this effort, which is doomed to fail . Its in his best interest not to testify. Most senators on boekt sides would like to expedite this. My own view is the president and his Legal Defense team will have to decide that. Democrats want to give them 170 billion. What could you do with that money . We would say that we do operate our schools on a low budget and do make that work. Obviously there is technology and other things we always benefit from. So the full amount i wouldnt know, but obviously we always benefit from resources. Some people are suggesting that the students do a year over. Just start over. Erase last year and start over. What do you think of that . Well, many of them will have to. The losses are again great. But how are you going to do over the loss of social interaction or the developmental loss of these children . The fact that they cannot see their friends, they cannot play. The emotional problems. Problems of abuse at home because everybody is cooped up together. These kids need the social interaction and they need to learn how to read and write and count and think which is what the schools are supposed to do. I think this could be, you guys, a revolutionary moment and when people figure out these are the people, these are the people who want to teach your kids but they dont want to teach your kids. They rather have their own selfinterest in front of them rather than the children. Get them in the classroom, do you want these people at the examples or the lady from the Catholic Schools and her kind of approach, not arrogance but humility before the task of education.
