Four To Be Honored During Women Of Distinction Virtual Event

WAUKESHA, WI (May 21, 2021) – Four Waukesha County women will be honored during the 37th annual Women of Distinction (WOD) celebration on July 15.

For the second year, the signature annual fundraiser of the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County (WGF) will be held virtually, with showings at noon and 7 p.m. on Facebook and YouTube.
Honorees are:
• Dr. DeAnne Blazek of Waukesha, a dentist who ran a successful practice and has dedicated much of her professional life to providing critical oral health care to those who could not afford it. She is an active volunteer at Community Smiles Dental. DeAnne also serves on the board and is a longtime member of the Lions Club, mentors dental students at Marquette University, and serves on the board and teaches at the Pankey Institute.
