Four Manitoba teams get wild card berths in Scotties and Brier - CHVNRadio: Southern Manitoba's hub for local and Christian news, and adult contemporary Christian programming.

Manitoba teams were awarded four of the six Wild Card berths for the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the 2021 Brier.
2020 World Junior champion Mackenzie Zacharias of the Altona Curling Club, 2019 Manitoba champion Tracy Fleury of East St. Paul and Beth Peterson of Winnipeg will compete at the Scotties in Calgary later this month.
Chelsea Carey will replace Fleury at the skip position in Calgary. Fleury will stay home with her young daughter Nina who is receiving treatment for a medical condition.
To claim a Wild Card berth, three of the four players who compiled the points during the 2019-2020 season must still be on the team.
